Let’s have a Lotus. Without an engine.
Eh?
The Lotus 119c soap box racer of course. Designed for the Soapbox Challenge at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Powered only by gravity so you needed low drag, small frontal area and low friction. Brakes were less important, because they slow you down. You don’t want slowing down when your sole motive force is gravity. It was allegedly capable of 200 mph or 320 km/h on a 45 deg slope. Why exactly you would go down a 45 deg slope on one of these is a thing yet to be explained, although Guy Martin would probably try it for you.

Motor removed = added lightness!
