#1 best thing about having a crafty ass girlfriend is her doing crafty ass shit to your motorcycle !
I would have never been able to wrap this thing myself without it looking like total crap.
Pro tip on wrapping things .. Use clips to hold the wrap while you staple it with your crappy 30 dollar home depot electric stapler because your a cheap ass and don’t have anywhere to store a compressor. SMH.
Who would have thought a hand stapler works better than a electric stapler.
Any how it looks pretty good and takes the instant butt sweat away. With the stock seat sitting in the Texas heat all day it soaks up heat and holds it like a baby holding a boob. So by the time I get a 1/4 of the way home my ass is swampy. With the suede wrap on the seat it holds much much less heat and I arrive home butt sweat free !
Oh Forza 6 is overwhelming with so many cars I don’t know where to begin. I did some League racing last night where collision is turned off and I really enjoyed it. A bunch of cars all close to each other and the miatas win every race !

Looks awesome! Did you use any type of waterproofing on it? I hear suede doesn’t do well when it gets wet.

I did not. Not yet atleast when I had the datsun seats wrapped with mexican blanket I made sure to scotch brite them and that worked out pretty well.
Thanks for the reminder !

That looks great! The seat is my only complaint on the Grom, but it’s back/taint pain rather than swamp ass that bothers me.

Gooch pains ? hmm.. I’m sure this varies depending on rider. I’m similar to a stick figure at 6,1 150lbs.

I’m 5’10”-160! I do find myself sitting up too far after a few miles, that’s probably most of it. It feels like the seat forces me in that direction. I’ve been temped to spring for a Corbin seat, but $350 for a Grom seat is a little more than I am comfortable spending.

No problem! I actually just got my motorcycle license last weekend. Currently looking for a small dual sport for my first bike. Also working with dad to convince mom that death is not guaranteed as soon as you hit the road on one.

Easier said than done. I had these professionally done and they’re holding up pretty well.

1/10 the cost of the entire bike.. Yea that’s a tad bit much. I actually wrapped this suede material over the stock material.. Figured it wouldn’t last and I didn’t want to be up shit creek. Day 2 riding on this seat cover and it’s been good so far. Even tho the suede is thin I can tell the difference of just 1 layer.

I’ve had big bikes. R6, Honda Shadow, Yamaha Verago.. All of them are dangerous but the Grom is hands down the most fun.
