I’ll give you the best kind, from a BMW S38. Always uplifting.
The ports are beautiful, from the factory
I love these engines. Like, love them. Few engines are as musical to me as one of these on a long pull. Just glorious. Drive something with one (or its Euro cousin M88) in it, it’ll change your life.

Machine shop right? Because if it’s a new OEM unit then i’m hella surprised it’s still even available to order/purchase. Must of been a million trillion $$$$s.

Here’s mine before the rebuild.
A lot like the S38, only more bigger.

Lots of parts commonality though. Jealous of your M3. I used to have an E28 M5 that I never should have sold.

Flip sauce! I say we do those once every 4 months or so. Just give the customer a couple hundred bucks, fix’em, drive them for a month or so, and sell :]

Yep, but he’s thinking he might keep this one if he can. He got it for 3k, it’s pretty rough but it’s a black ‘91 M5 so it’s worth fixing.
