Did you ever see the story about the guy who saved one of these during a flood by putting it on a giant raft and had it floating in the middle of a giant river?

I still wonder if the one down the street was a genuine one or simply had badges on it. It sure looked the part. It has since disappeared.

Same here. Doesn’t get much better than that.

Back when Porsche priced cars reasonably, based on content, instead of charging more for less. The American RS’s were really just decontented Carreras with spiffy door panels and seats, built to sell late 964s before the 993 eclipsed them. Porsche was nearly bankrupt at the time. The biggest improvement was losing the power steering. Source: this is my boss’ car.
The Euro RS’ were really special, with thin glass, seam welded chassis, more power, lower suspension, etc.

I think that was a 964 Speedster, if I recall right.

Well It was an obscure 964. I confident about that.

It was like 15 minutes in traffic. But it felt so cool. Manual steering ftw

Especially in white, without the sunroof.
