I do not know exactly why I decided to start this tonight, but I made the decision to watch every episode of the last Top Gear era in chronological order. It’s Jezza, Hammond, and May (well...starting in season 2) as they grow old together over the course of 12 years.

The best part? Season 1, Episode 1 sees them already picking on Hammond’s shortness. Look!

I’ve had them since I was in college. They have survived multiple PC’s, back-ups on multiple external hard drives, and data DVDs for 10 years.

Wasn’t this the standard procedure? You start from the beginning and you dont end until you watched the last one. Top gear, top gear everywhere! I wonder whatever happened to that guy who got replaced with May?

My girlfriend asked if we could go through them all, I too have had them for years. We finished Series 1 last night and will be starting 2 soon. We only do one every other night. At about 184 episodes including the specials it is going to take a little while.

If I had the ability to wipe something from my memory to experience it again for the first time, it would be Top Gear. Especially the special episodes.

I love Top Gear, but the music in the first seasons is so horrible and out of place, I’m glad they got it right later on.
