If someone would have told me ten years ago that Mercedes (with some help from Brabus) would make one of the most awesome sounding V8’s out there I’d laugh.. But..

Sure, it’s not as awesome as a 572 chevy engine, but keep in mind that this MB engine’s got two turbothingys.. And we all know Turbothingys ruin the sound of a V8..

The whole not loud but can be loud is the awesome thing. Sure there’s V8’s with more NOOOOISE out there, but this mofo delivers 850ish HP and 1000 pound foot of torque thingys.

The 6.2 was pretty remarkable sound-wise ... and it’s not like it was flimsy and lacking all torque, too. ;)
