Did my best Fernando Alonso impressions on Labor Day when I stuck my GoPro to a helmet. Fast laps around this track are in the 17s and I ran a 16.5xx.
Enjoy!
Re-share for the afternoon crowd.

Going through that chicane on cold tires is interesting to say the least.

Is it just me or does those electric karts sounds like the new F1 cars?

If you’re watching a video, then definitely! Watching the Italian GP was the best warm up for the race .

That looks like the Cinniminson track! I've been there 7 or 8 times, but my best time is only about an 18.2xx How do you go so fast?

That is indeed the Cinnaminson track. Being 150 lbs helps but I also love racing and get pretty competitive about it.

Same. Do you stay flat out through turn one? Because that seems like it would save time.
Also, I'm so glad they changed the corner all the way in the back (much easier now), but I think it might literally be because of me. Some guy rammed me into the barrier at full speed and the barrier totally shattered.

I haven’t been able to find a line through turn 1 where I can stay pinned without sliding and scrubbing off too much speed. You can kinda see in the video that’s where I catch up to my friend (yellow helmet) because he tries to stay flat. Other than that, no brakes!
I really like the corner in the back now...when you nail it, the chicane feels so much faster. That’s a funny story though, rubbing is racing!
Have you been on Track 2?

Been on Track 2, yes. I think it's harder because the surface is much more slippery. It's fun going flat out through the chicane on the long straight. I think I run high 18s there, but I'm not sure.
