Big images again! ...I say as Kinja makes a 1920x1200 picture tiny on the main page.

Evidently the trick to getting a full-size image is to edit your post to complain about the tiny image. Kinja always works to make you look dumb.

I don’t know. I’m not a fan of the big images (or the big text), as it’s harder to disguise a browser window among a bunch of work windows. If there’s a huge image of a car on my screen, it’s pretty obvious I’m not working. Not that anyone really cares here, but still.. It also takes up a lot of desktop realestate, so that if I am multitasking, waiting on a query or a script to run, I have to switch focus to see if my script is done. It’s the same issue I have with the left 3rd of the window, that’s all white, other than a couple links on the very top - wasted screen realestate..

The new design uses much more of the screen than the old. Nothing quite like a webpage only using the middle fifth of a 30” monitor.
