Yesterday, I woke up sick. After that, I got a flat tire. What should’ve taken five minutes to change ended up taking an hour because the first jack we used broke. Luckily we had another. And I’m glad my spare is a full size and not a donut. It still bugs me though because it’s a steelie and the rest of the wheels aren’t. Consistency and shit, you know? Then after that, I was putting out our bonfire and tripped over a tree branch and practically flew into the siding of my house. I ended up ripping my knee up pretty good. Hopefully today is better. I’m headed to work so hopefully nothing goes wrong.

Nope. It was apparently a little weak. The car was up a little ways when the jack broke. It didn’t completely snap, it just twisted a bit and the car came down slightly. But it broke before the flat was actually off, and we had a couple old beat up wheels from a different car under it just in case. So, jack breaks, car lowers down, we take the broken jack out and put another one in.

It was a little frightening, but it’s not done right if at least one thing doesn’t go smoothly.
