With all the advances in technology & computers does the latest windows software on the latest hardware still only take 30-60 minutes?

Just one bootable boot disk with MSCDEX on it. CDs FTW.

pro tip - after formatting your C: drive, copy the X:/WIN95 directory to C: where X: is your CD drive. Remove CD from drive and run the installer from C:\WIN95. Much faster and you won’t have to find the CD every time you change network settings or install drivers.

USB Windows Vista/7/8/10 installs can take less than 15 minutes depending on hardware.

When we image computers in the Air Force, it takes about two hours. That is also including the standard Air Force crap that the higher ups deem is necessary to have. Almost none of it is even used though. Also, lowest bidder computers may also factor into the two hour timeframe.

Shit, even a 20 year old may not even remember this. I was 7 when Win95 came out and I remember getting off the bus at my dad's old computer store and playing Centipede on one of the display computers. And...CHIP'S CHALLENGE!! I miss those old games.
