The Datsun pickup supposedly has an SR20... but I didn’t get an SR20. It was loud and quick, though, so I wouldn’t be too surprised.

The authentic Skyline R34 (not pictured) was also registered in Montana (because they’re careless, and also tax evasion), so I’m guessing this is too new to be imported as well. So I’m pissed at the owner for giving this thing a death sentence when he could have just gotten an old one instead. Sure the law is shitty, but you’re kind of a horrible person for bringing a cool car over here and fully knowing that it will likely be crushed. Let it go to someone who can keep it without that risk. /rant

I’ve had a chance to work on one of those celica convertibles. The “professional” coach company that converted them did an embarrassing job. We had to be extra careful lifting it because the body would bow so badly when the wheels weren’t holding the weight. I’ve read about some that were made by Toyota but those were all the later models with classic pop up lights. That Gran Prix though! I don’t know why you bothered taking photos of anything else.

Hi Rainbow,
I came across your comment about the R34GTR. I am the owner of the car. And before, saying that I am a horrible person, first ,you need to know me, which you don’t. Second, you might want to get some facts straight. My car is a Motorex car, here have a read to know the story http://skylinegt-r.wikidot.com/0-60mrex .
My car is one of 12 R34GTR that were imported by them and grand fathered in by the NHTSA. Meaning, they released the cars, without the need to be compliant.
The only thing that still applies is emission. Since I have a legit business in Montana, I registered my car there.

Did you get any pics of the Mach 1 Mustang with the GT engine? There was a great turn out this morning. Unfortunately, I pulled up right as the RWBs were going down Ashford. Those Cadillac Vs always sound so amazing. I did see your planet express car as I was walking through. We brought the mini van today instead of the mustang. So, I didn't get to really show off today.

It definitely is a beautiful car. I just wasn’t aware that there were any R34s here legally at all.

I don’t think I did, no. These are pretty much all the pictures I took.
But yeah, it was an excellent turnout! I’m pretty sure it was bigger than last month, and that was apparently the biggest show yet.

Nice! I think I saw that, but I was on my way to grab my umbrella from my car because it looked like it was about to rain, so I didn’t get a chance to really look at it. That is really sexy, though!
