I know this post is old, but resident Tesi 3D owner here. There are 29 Tesi 3D’s in the U.S. Total production is less than 200, and all U.S. Models use the dual spark 1078 engine from the Hypermotard.

I truthfully just bought the bike on Tuesday, hence the reason I’m spending half my time searching Tesi 3D info online and came across this post. It’s currently in transit to Seattle from the East Coast, so I’m waiting like a kid a Christmas. I will do a write up in a few weeks. Here are some pics. It is #16.”

looks rather weird not having any forks here, how does the steering work, electric motors?

linkages. From what I have read it is supposed to be much more rigid than forks.

Linkages! Makes it so that the suspention movement doesn’t affect steering

As the others have said, it is connected with linkages, this also provides more steering feedback than if it were steer-by-wire.

Just saw this. I got the bike, then had to wait another 4 days for the keys to come because they don’t ship bikes with the keys for liability reasons. That was painful. I’ve only gotten a few rides on the bike so far. The steering is sharp but with a bit of highway wander due to the steep rake angle. The most noticeable difference is under braking. You can really slam the brakes late and turn in into trail braking without upsetting the bike. I’ll try to type up a full review later. I took the bike to Exotics at RTC today and it drew quite a crowd. Here’s a pic in the garage.
