Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

They changed the layout on Jalopnik. It looks meh.

The fact that their “ads” and “what’s popular” take up as much white space as the actual content I give a fuck about is what irritates me. And if I element hide that left strip, all of the content moves right on over to the far left side and it bothers my OCD that it’s no longer centered.

This is bad Kinja.

Yeah I understood what you meant mate :) But I don’t see the updates here, it looks like the same old thing for me.

If they remove the drop-down Oppo bar that appears when you scroll up I will fucking scream. It’s been removed from every other blog for fuck knows why.

Dropping the browser’s zoom level (Firefox) down to 90% helps a bit. Thankfully, FF remembers individual page zooms. Constantly switching would be a pain. Let’s hope it’s not a final version, but even if it is, we’ll piss and moan about it and eventually get used to it. Maybe.

I use it on mobile 97% of the time, so no difference

It’s comically bad on desktop. On a common 768px high screen one article section on the front page is basically filling up the entire screen.

I think it scales pretty well.. if this were a mobile site.
I kinda feel like I need an FOV slider for my browser now.
