Well, it was not a “pure” Volvo engine, but you could buy a Volvo with a V6 ;P

![]() 09/03/2015 at 13:38 |

Can the flat-6 be described as a 180-degree v6 or no?
![]() 09/03/2015 at 14:07 |
|
AGHGGH. I owned one of these shitboxes, I could have had a V6 one? DAMMIT.
![]() 09/03/2015 at 14:09 |
|
mk3/4 VW Golf/Jetta because VR6 =/=V6
![]() 09/03/2015 at 14:09 |

The Sydney Harbour Bridge isn’t a V6, you can drive a car with a V6 on it, but there is no V6.
also berlinetta boxer
![]() 09/03/2015 at 14:42 |
|
Corvette and Viper are the last American Muscle/Supercars to NOT be downsized + forced induction, if that helps
![]() 09/03/2015 at 14:43 |
|
That...is.....ab....soo...lutely...STUNNING!!!!
![]() 09/03/2015 at 15:43 |
|
Nope, not really the same. Flat-6 engines are balanced because the pistons on each side move toward each other unlike in V6.
![]() 09/03/2015 at 17:09 |
|
BLASPHEMER!
The Porsche 6 is a boxer, meaning the opposing cilinders don’t share a crankpin. In a 180 degree V, they do. The Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer had a 180 degree V, despite what Ferrari claimed.
On top is a true boxer, on the bottom there’s a 180 degree V
