Firstly have Billie the Bilstein Works Aston Martin for your time.
Im looking to build myself a website, but most likely using a template or some other service like Go-Daddy or the like.
Has anyone done this, and have any advice about any sights to use, or more importantly avoid.
If it makes any difference, i’m happy to pay for the service, and am looking for a commerce option to sell a small number of photos, and have a few galleries and a selection of scrolling home images.
Any guidance will be most appreciated :) Aiming to get the site up and running before the Goodwood Revival as thats my next big gig.

I’ve heard good things about SquareSpace

Squarespace is good, flexible, relatively cheap and you can buy the domain and setup email through it. Very user friendly and I think you can setup e-commerce fairly easily.

Heard good things about Squarespace... I personally use Bluehost. If you’re not savvy with HTML/CSS, WordPress is easy to use too and you can get your domain/hosting through Go Daddy or Bluehost and build your site with WordPress for free. They both have tools to build your site through WordPress anyways.

Iron Sights are pretty reliable but Lenses may be the better type of sight to use

Squarespace is looking very good. Need to look into if they do a slideshow style background for a homepage, but their commerce options look very good, thanks :)

Bluehosts storage looks really good, 100gb for like $5 might well be very handy for pictures, good shout, lots of options to look into now thanks.

I’ve done a site through Wix.com before. It was pretty good at the time. There were a lot of templates to work from. The interface was trying a little too hard to be “friendly”, but it was easy to use. Might be worth a look.
