I have no problems with this. If they can make some quick, legal money—oh fucking well. I’d do it myself.
Frankly, if they can get somebody to pay their prices, they deserve it.

Price be damned, that is a lovely shade of blue. Did not know dodge offered this color.

I saw my first Hellcat Charger this morning on the commute to work. Thankfully, he was on the onramp in front of me and accelerated normally, which quickly drowned out everyone else on the road.
And it’s the first Charger I’ve seen in days that wasn’t donked. Refreshing!

Also: If someone is dumb enough to buy it, they deserve to get ripped off. 5 minutes of research will tell you they aren't worth that.

It’s literally just supply-demand. The demand is high, and the supply is low, so the price goes up. It’s just that here it’s individuals selling, rather than the dealer, where they are also marked up. Except that Charger. That guy is just hoping to find a fool.

I have to say I’d do it. Capitalism works for the highest bidder, some people are dumb enough to bid mighty high.

Yup. It’s just called ‘Blue Pearl’. It’s a nice color, though I’d pick sublime green, personally.

As others have said this is capitalism at its finest, however distasteful it may be.These cars deserve to be driven and enjoyed, not sitting in some dude’s garage while he waits for another dude to overpay for it.

There were some problems ordering it in that colour so there won’t be too many.
My dad got one and tried to get it in that colour, ended up with white. Still stupid fun.

How do titles work in Detroit? Where I live, you have to register a new car as soon as you buy it...kind of a protection against people buying cars, not paying sales tax, and selling them overseas at a markup. So the lack of a title on the first one is fishy to me, that or it's actually a dealer selling it.

The first one is the type of person I strongly dislike. He buys something he knows he’s not going to use, then attempts to sell it at a premium. Someone who genuinely wanted the car missed out, and now will have to either pay more, or miss out all together because he can no longer afford it. I also strongly dislike the people who pay that price for them because it supports the practice.
I know - hurr durr capitalism and all that. Still doesn’t mean I can’t think he is an asshole of the highest order.

That’s fine. If a person has that much money to throw around, a few thousand isn’t going to make a big deal.

Sorry, just bought a Cadillac Cimarron with original tires, original oil, and original gas for $53,034. If I can sell my ‘86 Tercel for my asking price of $69,234 I’ll definitely consider it.

I thought only this year is rare, are they actually limiting production every year? If not, I’d just wait till next year and get it for retail if I wanted/could afford one.
Plus, you know, then I could get the options I wanted
