I big to differ! This lil guy served me well on my SFO trip a few weeks ago. It was practically brand new though. I’m used to driving a MY91 and a MY03 car daily so I was quite impressed with the “options” on low end cars these days. The hatch had a lot of room in it. I would totally rock the textured plastic dash as opposed to my MR2’s vynil wrap all the things interior. And the super quiet blinker...must have.

I have to admit, 42 MPG from Phoenix to L.A. and back with air conditioning on was a pleasant thing. Driving it in the crosswinds you get in Palm Springs was horrendous though. I didn’t think a car with such a small cross section could be shoved around by wind like that, but it was hard to stay in my lane at times, and I think the swaybars are probably made of plastic, so those sudden steering corrections felt a lot like a sailboat race. Also, the speedometer wasn’t calibrated and would read 90 when I was actually going 80.
