No hows about $500 or I walk. Consider I need to trailer it back from Alabama. In all honesty it would only be bought for the wheels, seats, and exterior trim. Also found an ARB bumper from a 99 D II. Anyone think I could get it to work with my 03? In my head they aren’t very different.....but in actuality who knows.

Have a rough 89 D110 for your time
Also arctic wheels some guy is trying to trade for “devices that put hunting game on my table”. Sounds like someone ought to be visited by DHS.

Sounds like someone ought to be visited by DHS.
Sounds like someone’s going to be ready for when they come to violate his constitutional rights.

Tell him you’ll do him a favor and take it from him for free before he thinks about trying to repair it again.

I bought my Rangey engine donor for $500, but the engine hadn’t popped like a grape. He could get that much parting it out, easy, but there’s no guarantees.
Your ARB link has gone *zap*.
The tires in the last one are nice-ish, but the wheels aren’t much to write home about. I *think* the guy is only naughty if the hunting devices come to him from out of state, unless TN has an advertising law that would apply to mentions on the CL. Not a big deal for private sales in state, or it isn’t in most cases.

TBI (Tennessee Bureau of Investigation) requires mandatory checks for all sales through a FFL licensed dealer.
And that would be the case on anything every posted for Resale with an ARB badge on it.
Any knowledge of EBC brakes?

Yes, just like everywhere. Not private person to person sales or transfers in-state. Sale/trade on Craig - only a problem if the guy selling to him is doing so from out of state or has the belief that he is sketchy and sells anyway - that violates straw purchase laws. Otherwise, not an issue legally speaking. Multiple websites out there to arrange person to person trades and sales - this is what always gets dishonestly referred to as the “gun show loophole”.

No knowledge of EBC brakes, sadly. All our Landies are running drums, and anything we’ve put fancy brakes on hasn’t been a Landy or with EBC parts.

No linky on ARB, but saving possibly bodywork issues it should bolt on. Hard to say without seeing it.
And by the by, the ‘rough’ 110 looks in decent nick compared to my two!

The bumper should fit, the facelift was merely superficial so everything underneath is the same. I’d give the $500 and no more because the block could also be fucked from overheating.

“blown head gasket” is so often code for “I OVERHEATED THIS LIKE A MOFO AND DROPPED LINERS LOL”

Land Rover: we didn’t invent the V8, just the disposable V8.

For that POS, $500 max. Personally I’d only offer the scrap value which I think is only $200-$300.

I took my ARB bumper off my ‘99 DII and installed it on my ‘03 Disco with no problem. The only thing you’ll have left dangling is the fog light leads/bulbs. I just zip-tied them to the bottom of bumper like underglow lights on a lowered honda. Looked pretty cool on trails at night.

The ad closed almost immediately, but my buddy has a plasma cutter and I have access to a powder coating facility, so if I get a cheaper bumper I can make my own fog lamp portals and maybe even my own mounting bracket for other lighting.

Probably started with a leaky throttle heater and just kept on driving.

$500 tops. Engine block is probably junk. But you can at least make a good 4.6 out of it if you find a good block.
03, so no tcase upgrade :(
Arb should work fine.

Dude didn’t want to play ball to even get me vin to check the options and see if it might have been a rare 03 with a CDL. Those are my favorite Rover wheels though. And as soon as I posted the bumper it was gone.

Lame. He might play ball in another month when it still hasn’t sold.

Sweet! Throw up a pic if/when you make the bumper. I’ve always loved the ARB-style on everything.

it’s already gone, I heard they proved to be a little flimsy over time though.

Ah, gotcha. I bought mine in 2004 through 4WheelParts and haven’t had any corrosion problems or flimsy-ness develop. It earned my respect when I hit a deer going 60 mph at night on a highway. The bumper just shrugged it off like nothing happened and went completely unscathed. No flex, no bend, nothing! I’d put one on my current truck but they don’t have anything for newer F-150s.
