A: For CL ads, of course.
Not selling it yet, but we’re shopping. Cleaned it really good yesterday, and decided to take a bunch of photos to have on hand for when we need them.
Question #2: Who takes a photo of the fuel filler?
A: The guy who cleans it, duh.

I hope you’re in the market for a more Jalop car. That is a bland Civic!

Everyone has to have one good decision in the driveway. Honda Appliances are
ours
hers.

That has to be the cleanest Civic in existence.

What does the current Mister McMike fleet consist of?
The opposite of good decisions.
Two Vanagons, Austin Mini, Jaguar E-Type, and an American motorcycle.

It cleans up pretty good for a 12 year old car with 152K miles.
VTEC barely used.

I’ve got an old Cali blue on gold plate which will be stuck on my car when I sell.

Whoever buys it is getting a good deal.

I have some old out-of-state plates I was going to use, but then I thought of all the “Is the car located in Virgina?” questions I might get.
I assume you’re in CA?

Nope, I live in the DC Area.
That’s a good point though about out out out of state plates.

We forwarded the photos and info to family/friends first who have 15 year olds at home to see if they were interested first.
I think it’s perfect for a teenager. Cheap to fix, cheap to replace, reliable, and simple.

I should bring the Civic to Katie’s Cars&Coffee, and park it right up front with the window sticker on it. :)

Do it! Make sure to park in front of the coffee shop itself where the exotic exotics usually park.
Also, Sebring guy has gone missing!

He’s no longer “Sebring” guy. This is from Sat. (not my video)

Ah, I see he has been reincarnated without that silly hat and now is “Cruze guy.”

Says you! I make exclusively horrible car decisions and look how well that’s going for me. *screaming internally*

When I foolishly traded away my ‘77 Esprit for a Hombre, as we were leaving the lot we walked past the crooked nose of my Firebird and my stepdad says “Don’t you wanna save the plates?”
“Why?” I asked.
“Because it was your first car. Don’t you want to have something to remember it by?” (pretty sure that’s not what he said he is a man of few words unless drunk but that was the gist of it)
I hated that car at that point in life and just said “NOPE.” but now I have an ingrained OCD to keep every plate from every car since then that was not leased (I was told the plates on my 2000 Neon stayed with the car but I don’t think that’s entirely true).
I re-used some of them on other cars I have owned, until I found out it costs as much to being a plate back from the dead as it does for new ones, so I just play the license plate lottery to see what I get.... and stockpile the old ones.
