18” Volvo Sleipner wheels from the S60 T6. Really a great looking wheel. And theres a really great looking set on eBay in my price range. Just gotta see if the offsets and center bore will work.
Here is a 30 second Powerpoint photoshop. The wheels would be a little smaller but man I think they would look insane!

The PowerPoint photoshop makes it look donk. Lol
It would look pretty cool though. Hope this comes to fruition!

If a bit smaller then yes, I’m a huge fan of factory wheel swaps.

Powerpoint doesn’t really let you mess with size all that well..
I’d be going from a 17” to an 18”
And they offered an 18” my year so its nothing super crazy
Powerpoint makes it look almost like a 20”

I assumed that from what you said, and thank you for reminding me how great looking the C30 is.

Why don't you try swapping wheels from one of your parents Volvos. If they fit, then these should probably fit, since they were meant for their cars.

Huh. Actually not a bad idea at all. Only problem would be id have to change all 4 and test it for a little bit since I can’t tell how close the center bore differences are... I’ve got my wheel guy looking into it

I guess you could just take both cars to a tire shop, and have them swap all 4.

According to him I may have a stupid problem. The bolts might not be the same And wouldn’t bolt up properly

Those should look good!
I suggest you stay with the OEM tire size, but just up one for the wheels to keep the speedometer from getting fucky.

Its a bit of a wider wheel (18X8 vs the 17X7 I have now) but luckily Volvo offered a wheel the exact same size and width on the model year.
I know what I can go up to without running into big issues
I might just have a really stupid issue with my lug nuts

Justin. Take a look at these. I’m not sure what they’re called, but they’re the ones off of the facelifted C30 R Design.

I’ve always liked the way the Midirs look But they are dare I say a little common..
And for the price of them right now I’d rather get something and stand out
That being said if a reasonable set show up in my budget I would be interested

Actual bolts. All volvo wheels are a 5x108. But They use a different setup (studs&nuts vs wheel bolts) and the fact that one is an M12 and one is M14, it may take a different type of nut/bolt seat, which may be difficult to make work.

That sucks. I feel like I’ve seen a c30 with those wheels before though.

I’ve gone to C30World and SwedeSpeed now to see what others have done. I know a lot of people who have done similar swaps with newer wheels so it must be possible somehow. If it isn’t that bad id do it.

Maybe you should call the volvo dealer, or even better, an indie volvo mechanic.

Try just one of the front wheels for fitment. Volvos five-lugs should all be 5X108 (ask me how I know...), and check how it fits over the caliper all the way (if it goes that far), and how far the wheels turn to make sure there’s no body/wheel well contact.
Also, y u no R-Design?! Best C30 wheels IMHO:

I like the Midir wheels quite a bit. But (and call me crazy) I like being different. At least those would work though.
They just aren’t cheap really.
Why couldn’t I have a Honda with millions of aftermarket uses?
Darn Volvos and people who mostly don’t do wheel swaps...

Came here to say that sleipnir is the single coolest name for a set of alloys ever.
Shame theyre not 8-spoke though, like its mythological namesake...

Fair point. My greatest complaint about current/recent Volvo wheels os that they - like so many others - are doing split-spoke asymmetrical (angled spoke) wheels, and that they’re unidirectional, that is, all four wheels are the same, rather than the left side going one direction (I like the spokes to be appearing to claw the ground, so the top-most one would be angled more towards 11-o’clock than 12-o’clock on the left side of the car, and towards 1-o’clock on the right side). Sure it’s cheaper to have the wheels all be the same, but it’d add a particular touch to the cars to have them all properly faced. Of course, until some tire jockey installs one left wheel on the right side and a right on the left and ruins the look. But that’s why I like symmetrical wheels. The only reason I haven’t swapped my factory Mazda6 wheels to my set of Moda R6s is because the Mazda wheels look so good and like they belong to the car.
