“Built for Siberia, not suburbia”. Gods damn is that one hell of a line. If no one steals that for advertising an SUV, I will be disappointed. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Shame about the location.

I wish this was legal to import to the US

Is it not? They were legally sold in Canada originally.
EDIT: Ah, still might not meet American regulations. Your country is stupid.

That one won't be legal until 2019.

Your country is lame. “Land of the free” my ass.

You and me both.

I completely agree with you. My country sucks. The 25 year import rule is the worst.
I just want one of these that has a nice clean body/frame/drivetrain/interior. If it runs good, that’s a bonus, but if it doesn’t run at all, I’d just slap something smoother and more powerful in it. Hunt down an HID conversion for the lights. Slap some of those LED strip off road lights on there... This car could be the ultimate trail/logging road exploration vehicle.

That’s 1,389 kms one way for me from Edmonton. Although it’s only a 3 hour flight there then you drive it back and hope it makes the 16 hour drive back.
Tempting!

We bought one of these on the cheap :) it’s needed a lot of work, but we knew that when we bought it (had lived a lot of tough miles).
Great fun though, and really rather capable. We use it for dossing about our field, and hauling cut logs from thr bottom of our hill to the top :)
