We attempted to go to the rally today, I took my 3 year old with me. Since I had a small human along I didn’t get to see much, we made it to the noon service where a very cool Fiesta driver let my son sit in his car. Thank you sir! While walking the service area my son pointed out his favorite car on the grounds, he bypassed all the brand new iron and informed me that the white 1990 Volvo 240 sedan was the coolest car there. True Jalop offspring right there. It was a fun day.

This was a spectator car sitting in the lot. It had front bumper damage, which made it kinda cooler!

I think you had a better time at Ojibwe than I did

What team were you with and how did it go? I was wishing I had an oppo shirt on at service just in case I bumped into you. Honestly I have no idea how the weekend played out, my son and I gawked for a few hours then headed home.

I was co-driving car 370 (white STI) and it was rough. Yesterday we broke a transmission mount, had a differential issue that made the car essentially front wheel drive, and knocked the exhaust loose. Today we had a flat, lost the brakes, and then had a steering failure that sent us off into the trees. Still better than being at home working though.

That sucks but it sure looked like fun from where I was standing. Are the street stages kinda boring? They seemed to be not as intense.

They’re definitely less intense, but still fun in their own way
