father had two first-gen S60’s, (both T5’s, one was FWD the other was AWD), and loved them both. Apparently, second-gen is better. Ok, that’s all.

Test drove a 13 T5 AWD a couple of years back, loved it

Yeah they’re great. Trying to convince my mother to get a V60, an XC60, or a Grand Cherokee

They’re pretty good. Just avoid the new 4 cylinder power train. My mom’s 2015.5 S60, along with many others, have some issues.

Our family loves em. But we might be biased

What’s going on with hers? We just got a V60 with the Drive-E...

Oil burning. I’m going to assume that your mom’s is a later production car, so maybe it’s fine. I’ve heard of several owners with this engine having the same issue though.

Huh. We will have to watch for it.
It’s actually a used 2015 so maybe the earlier ones are safe...
Does it run full synthetic

It does run full synthetic. It seems that the low oil light likes to come on every 5,000 miles, when the interval is 10,000. Maybe my mom’s is just from a bad batch. BTW, I love the blue color your mom got.

I found that the V60 was super cramped in the backseat area
