Don’t see many solid lids on TR6s in these parts. A shame, really, because the convertible tops are so often crap.

This is the perfect amount of meat on the wheels for this car. Fantastic.

Coincidentally I often see a Stag that seems to be in daily use and today was a two sighting day.

This +a Jag 3.8 would be one hell of a British hot rod.

Makes me think they should have welded them on and sold them as coupes alongside the convertibles. Couple of spot-welds and they could have charged £50 more for the luxury of not getting wet :)

Hell yeah it would be :)

That’s like the big-block 6 of the classic British sports-car world.

Cool :) with the wonders of modern technology (and a workforce that doesn’t intentionally sabotage production) you can make them into thoroughly reliable cruisers :)

Exactly what I thought when I first saw that pic. Everything about it is perfect.

Mark my words, one day I will own one. Then I will pull out the 2.5 OHV and fit my 2.6l Rover/Triumph SOHC and make the TR6 that Triumph should have made :)
