That’s an interesting list of cars you’ve made there. I would’ve made a very different list, but I very strongly welcome diversity.

The European market gets all these vehicles by the way, as there’s no 25 year import ban. I’ve seen c6 Corvettes, CTSs, Ford Raptors and Camaros. Not sure about that last one though. Hell, my German father in law daily drives a Dodge Magnum RT (in Germany).

I think the official answer for now was no. Also, side note, while I do like the navigator I think a fully loaded expedition is a better deal (when talking about the new 15s with the ecoboost) I’ve spent time in both and I think that’s where my money would go.

Hmm... Interesting. I’ve not been on the continent yet, but I remember in Ireland that pretty much every back road was 100 kph (and that was pretty much the limit of what was safe as opposed to the number someone picked out of a hat) and the highways were 120. Fifty five is only like 90 kph.

How different is the XR3i from the US-market Escort GT? We got a 110-HP 1.9 CVH in that generation with a slightly lower suspension and 14” alloys...

While I am entirely uninterested in (almost) all of the cars above, I am still bitter that we have yet to get this in America. 4x4 diesel with a manual trans = perfect daily driver.
Also the Holden Maloo, but that’s a topic for another discussion.

The XR3i had a 105 hp 1.6 CVH as far as I know. With an optional turbo. It weighs less than the US market one though. I know little about ‘hot’ Fords of the day. I’m guessing they’re subpar, but that might be my bias as a ‘88 Peugeot 205 GTI owner. Now there’s a superb car.

Nope, 130 km/h is the max on the highway, Germany has unrestricted limits in many places, Belgium is 120 km/h. So we have probably faster highway speeds than the US.

How is driving a Zr1 any different than driving an outlandish Lamborghini? Besides I could care less what other people think about what I drive. I drive a car for me. As for the next three the Challenger is a wonderful car for the open road. The Cadillac is a damn hammer and it handles the Ring as well. And the Raptor the truck for offroading.
