Fred Shammas was an active member of the plastic aircraft modeling community who died almost exactly two years ago due to a disease or cancer that I’ve honestly forgotten now. He was most notable for his very lifelike photography techniques and tutorials on how to achieve the same effects. Living behind what we in the West see as a furtive veil over Iranian society, he never spoke of any ill towards any nation, creed or ethnicity and only let his enthusiasm for his hobby speak. Not to say that he didn’t probably have some sense of patriotism as most of his subjects covered the Iranian air force from the Shah to the Ayatollah regimes. He was thus also considered a valuable resource on the older American fighting metal that still routinely takes to the skies above Tehran and now !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

You can see some of Shammas’ works !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! or in the pictures below.
