Reading through computer usage policies

As part of my new employment, I have to read through their computer usage policy. Looks like there’ll be no Oppo for me during the day. I’m also not allowed to download screensavers or custom cursors, so fifth-grade CB is sad. Also, the form was last updated in 2000. This should be fun, right?

I think we have a computer use policy. I’m almost certain we do. However, when in the past Reddit Boy didn’t get in trouble over that (something else, though), I’m somewhat inured to IT policy not cutting with a very sharp blade for good or ill.

As a former IT guy you would not believe how many computer problems are created by users trying to customize their machines. That majestic dolphin screensaver comes with malware.

he’ll be trading for another one with a stickshift, in better shape. this one will be sent to alberta to be restored, just needs bodywork and some leaks to be sorted.
