So I am doing my senior capstone project on the history of Duesenberg car company. Why it was the greatest automobiles the United States has ever made and why the company died while building the greatest automobiles the United States has ever made. I will be visiting the Auburn museum regularly for information on the subject over the semester and could not be more excited.
Because of our wonderful automotive community does anyone know of any good credible secondary sources I could use for my research? Books, journal articles, etc I could order from my library?

Greatest ever made? That might be a tough point to prove.

Well that’s kind the point. I don’t want an easy argument it should be a challenge

Ahhh senior projects, I loved doing mine, had a little auto cad, a scale model and a whole lot of 32 ford.
As for Duesenberg being the best ever will be a tough claim, though you can do a big chunk on its pop culture status and how it's an integral part of the roaring 20s mystique.

Duesenberg was indeed one of the greatest car companies that ever existed. I’m actually quite happy that it hasn’t been “revived”. Such awesomeness cannot reproduced anymore.
sm70- why not Duesenberg?

That is a good idea. I will consider that in my arguments.

I could not agree with you more. Reviving a Doozy would almost be a sin.
