I'm a 39 year old guy and can admit to liking quite a few of her songs. She knows how to write some catchy tunes. And to boot, she is one attractive lady.

I’ve never heard any of her stuff (to my knowledge). I know it sounds like a hipster to say that kind of thing, but ever since radio and MTV basically died out, I don’t have any other random musical discovery outlets except word of mouth. And nobody I know listens to her actively. I’ve heard she at least writes her own stuff, which is cool. And pretty rare these days.

31 year old man here, who generally hates catchy pop stars, but I second this. Her songs are not all that great but good lord are they catchy. The fact that I think she’s one of the more attractive women I’ve seen recently doesn’t hurt either.

Hey I’m 44 and I agree. Catchy bubblegum pop has always had its place, since just about forever. I mean the Bangles weren’t writing awesome hits for the ages either.

To the best of my knowledge I have never heard a Taylor Swift song. And no, I don’t live in the McMurdo Dry Valleys or any such place that has no contact with the outer world, I live in an urban area in the United States. But I haven’t.

So, anyway, why don’t you post a video of one of her better songs? Or either that or “Never Gonna Give You Up,” this is the Interweb, after all.
