It's one thing to fly your flag. It's another to do so in a predominately black area of Atlanta.

I mean seriously. The Braves are terrible.

That’s the lamest convoy I’ve ever seen. I mean really, a Pacifica?

A BMW should not be flying any flag other than the German flag.

I flick off trucks like this when I see them

Parade through a predominately black neighborhood flying a flag with ties to racism to say it isn’t racist? Makes sense

Maybe a white flag to signal the tow truck driver

Setting aside the Confederate flag, which is a whole separate issue, I’ve never been able to figure out how attaching an oversized American flag to your vehicle and driving down the highway with it flapping in the exhaust-filled breeze of other cars whipping by is supposed to be an appropriate display of patriotism. If anything, it seems to be showing a degree of disrespect for the flag by treating it like a Pep Boys accessory and exposing it to those sorts of conditions. For parades, sure, whatever, but just driving down the highway?
Then again, I don’t understand those “In Memory of” memorial messages on car windows either.

I was more surprised at the diversity of car brands. I've seen a few trucks with flags around town but not a mini convoy

No joke. The ownership gave up on them long ago.

I was embarrassed. I was looking at the people around and their reactions. Pure disgust on most faces. Some anger.
Not sure where they were going but according to their tags they were at least 20-30 minutes from home so they were going out of their way.

I-20 West at Westview Drive SW. Very noticable.

Eastbound actually. Just before all the construction

I’m used to leaving town to head out to Douglasville. :)

And it fucks with your fuel economy beyond belief.

There's a truck near me that has a confederate flag in the grille. I live in Canada.

You must live a very easy life if a flag is enough to make your blood boil. I envy you.

I don’t get it. What does it being a predominantly black neighborhood have to do with anything?

Yup. My gf’s. I have a 2015

Manual or automatic? I find the manual in the 3 is superb, but that’s just my personal opinion.

Gf = auto. Me = manual

Nice. I test-drove a ‘15 2.5 manual recently, and the transmission was almost perfect. Seriously great car, IMHO.

I just have the 2.0. I kinda wish I had the extra 30 or so horses sometimes. Love it though. I wish more people bought them.

I’m not following your reasoning there.

* fly anti-establisment flag as a middle finger to the federal government*
*fly the establisment approved official symbol of the the federal government right next to it*
... Probably a good idea not to think about this too hard. I did, and it started to sting.

It’s called ‘the zero sum game’. You’re not allowed to be angry about a thing unless it is worst of all the things you could potentially be angry about. *In that way, other people are allowed to control your opinions and direct your outrage for you, usually to something conveniently far away and impossible for you to take meaningful action against.
*(Whoops, you’re not supposed to notice this part. Just pretend everything after the first asterisk is blank.)
