Yes, yes, I know this is a terribly dangerous way to drive, but I can’t help but admire this guy’s skill. I knew the S2000 was a capable car, but this video makes it seem like it’s the best out there. Just enjoy it for what is it and lets not start an argument about the driving shown in the video lol.

Definitely an experienced driver. Liked the commentary. Too much oncoming traffic, though. The road needs to be closed for this kind of thing.

Is warming up the brakes a thing? I thought warm brakes were less effective brakes. Unless they’re carbon ceramics.

Yeah it’s a thing especially among the more race-oriented pads. Don’t ask me what the science behind it is, but race pads need to get warmed up before they work well. Race pads usually sound like worn out brakes when they are cold but the sound goes away once they are fully warmed up I believe.
