A 26 foot U-Haul was stolen in Abbotsford, BC, belonging to an American family moving from Georgia to Alaska. Of course it was in Abbotsford...the video is seriously bad, but can anyone tell what kind of car it is that the thieves come in and tell the Abbotsford Police?

Are we sure that’s a 26’ truck? Because the vehicle that pulls up seems to be about the same size (distance from tail lights to head lights...) But wow, that video is horrible. Might as well not be a video IMO.

Yep! The one-way trucks are all medium duty, typically third generation GMC/Chevy C5500 and C6500. The C5500 is mated to the 24’ box (U-Haul code: GH) and the C6500 is mated to a 26’ box (U-Haul code: JH).
The truck in the video is either 24 or 26 feet long :)

I’m a big fan of U-Haul’s one-way fleet. And I mean, they will rent out an E-350 chassis cab cube van for one-way, but unless it’s a short trip or they have nothing to move, people opt the big trucks. Imagine driving cross country in a cramped E-350!!

Pontiac Grand Am? The taillight patterns fit.
