But I have some mostly shameless self-promotion to do. A friend and I have been working on a little project for a while now and it’s finally out of the bag. It’s something that people on here I think could get behind and might enjoy checking out occasionally. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is our little project and while there isn’t a whole lot of content currently, we have more in the works and plans to cover quite a few more events and cars in the future.

Thanks for sharing. Hope you stick with it. I like the photography so far. Than a great looking Thanks for making it more than a list of parts hot-linked to pep-boys. :)
I had a friend in the late 80s, early 90s who ran a small used-car lot with his dad. He had a bunch of FiveOh Mustangs float through his hands every year, but he held onto a turbo II for a couple years because it was such an addictive car to drive.

We’re gearheads. We are trying to make this stand out by not doing exactly what you said you are glad we haven’t done. I know I will never write an article that is like that, I enjoy the details too much and have zero emotion for off the shelf builds. I’m hoping it gains some traction and we can keep the ball rolling.
About the car, that thing is a completely different ride than just about any other car on the road.

My personal opinion. I like lowered cars. I hate bad camber. Stance it, but do it to not mess up the looks and other aspects of the car. Carry on.

Neat. I don’t think you should hesitate to share a project you are proud of putting effort into. As long as that doesn’t become your main purpose for being here and you start plugging it at every turn I think it’s all good. I’m sure you even could get a couple of cars from Oppo to feature. Good luck with the site.

Thanks! I just feel like Oppo is kind of sacred ground and I’ve been around long enough that I’ve grown to groan(lulz) at posts that are about hyped up things that don’t go anywhere, but since we actually have the site live I figured it was about time to post something about it.

If you need any contributions from the east coast, hit me up. Im halfway into a massive project going on 4 years now, but when I have spare time, things like this definitely interest me.

Are you talking about contributions in the form of cars to cover or articles and photos?

Could do both. A good friend of mine owns a shop with a couple of absolutely wicked project cars, and I do photography, but did go to school for media production which included journalism.

That would be pretty cool. We’re still trying to find our place as far as content and amount goes but we’ve definitely been looking out for contributors who provide variety to it all, I don’t see us being about to travel very far to cover a car ourselves in the near future though. Shoot me an email at zach@featuredgarage.com if you ever decide you’d like to try your hand at it and I’m sure we can work something out.

I’ll certainly keep it in mind. You can search for my username on instagram and flickr if you want to see examples of my photography as well.
