I can’t give the Scion too much crap here, because that driveway is all but blind until you get to the top. I should know, I pull out of it most days, and there have been many accidents over the years. But wet, slick roads made for a whole lot of ABS here. Much closer than it looks, it was a good thing I was covering the brakes just in case.

There was still room for him to inch forward until you could see your lane. I’ll never understand why people just go for it in these situation without properly seeing traffic they are about to cross instead of slowly moving into the intersection.

I was covering everything. I’ve had too many close calls with that driveway to ignore it as I drive by. Had I really been thinking I would’ve moved into the left lane.
