Truly a sad day indeed. Lenny Robinson was a local hero, appearing at many children’s hospitals along the Mid Atlantic posing as Batman and providing smiles, toys and rides to sick children. He was made “famous” for a traffic stop in Maryland in his Lamborghini Bat Mobile, in full costume for the lack of plates. I believe he even made front page here on Jalopnik.
He was killed Sunday while attending to his car along the side of I-70 in Maryland.

Really awesome guy, who cared about others much more than he did about his own wealth.
It’s always a Camry though.

Well that’s horrible...seemed like a genuinely good guy that was trying to help kids, then some turd in a Camry runs him down.
RIP Mr. Robinson.

That guy seemed like one of the coolest super car owners out there, not to mention a really decent person.

To be fair, there are two stereotypes here, VAGtalian reliability and Camry owners.

I read that article earlier today. Was he really on the left shoulder, partially in the roadway?
I’m really hoping that’s a typo.
