Nice Over-Under! I’m still stuck on the good old pump action, but I’ll get one eventually

I want that pic on my living room wall. The size of a Velvet Elvis would do.

Do you use Thu loc choke’s. I got some for my cz redhead. Made the 900$ gun shoot like a 3000$ gun. Pattern efficiency and density and fixed my regulation problems. Best 80$ I spent.

Because if you wanted to get rid of it, I'd be happy to take it for you.

Sounds like you really like your Redhead. I love CZs (have a 70, 75, 82, and 58 rifle) and my buddy shoots a 912 for trap and skeet. I currently shoot a Browning A5 which I love dearly, but I’d like to add a nice O/U to my collection. I never see anyone with CZs where I shoot, so I’m wondering how you like it and how it compares to the B guns or anything else you may have shot.

What O/U is that and how do you like it? I’m itching to add one to my collection, but still undecided on what I want.

Also, I love the picture. So much ‘Murica it brings a tear to my eye.

Just cause you can’t kick-start it doesn’t mean you have to shoot it.

It’s a Stoeger, and it’s my friend’s. I like it for clay because I don't need to pump between targets.

Oh nice, I’ve looked at those a few times, they seem like a lot of gun for the money. The problem with O/Us is they actually require a fair bit of craftsmanship, everything needs to lineup right to get a good, solid lockup. I’ve held a brand spankin’ new Mossberg Silver Reserve and it felt like absolute garbage, all wobbly and stuff, right out of the box. The Stoegers, which are at about same price point, feel way nicer.

For clays I shoot an old Browning A5 Magnum with a 30” goose barrel on it with 1” extended chokes. It’s so damn long that if I miss the clay, I can just smack it with the muzzle. I also have my dad’s old Mossy 500 pump. It’s great for single trap when you’re only shooting one at a time, but it’s so incredibly difficult to shoot skeet/sporting clays with.
