Overall they are decent, until they aren’t. Have you had to replace that crazy rusted out water pipe from the lower radiator hose to the water pump? What a nightmare!

Nope it was pretty rust free when I got it. I think it lived in a garage and didn’t come out during winter or rain. I’ve been working to rectify that. Only thing I’ve had to replace besides tired suspension bits and worn brakes are the starter and a battery. Well actually I didn’t replace those because my back was broken at the time.

While I’m not the biggest fan on the Taurus/Sable (more the Vulcan maybe, definitely) these are stupid comfortable, somehow sip gas, and have a shockingly good stock stereo system. Great commuter honestly.
