Post a song that you love, but most people have never heard of.

Calming tune, contrary to what I normally listen to. Conveniently had it linked since I just sent it to my girlfriend.

This isn’t my favorite song or anything, it’s just so weird and obscure, even though it’s not an indy band like most of the stuff I like.

If you’re trying to wind down for the night then proceed with caution. If you like getting amped up and eventually falling into a 6 hour coma every night then proceed with your usual reckless abandon.

Bonus points for Lada Niva.

Catchy. The vocals reminded me of Silverstein, though now that I listen to them back to back they’re pretty dissimilar.

I’ve never heard of Silverstein before, but they’re pretty good, and they do have a similar feel. They also kinda remind me of Silverline (coincidence?)
and maybe a tiny bit of Spoken (I’m totally diggin’ their new release):

Ahh, well, I read it not long before I watched your vid. The last story is about a frozen yogurt place.

Cool. Silverline and Silverstein (seriously, wtf?) both really remind me of middle school, lol. Seems like Spoken have a little better musical chops, whereas Silverstein was just really awesome to a crestfallen, pubescent 14yo me.

Seru giran is one of the best bands of all times in my opinion, but not really known outside of Argentina. This live version of this song is great. This whole album is great.
Good thread by the way, I’m listening to everything in here.

Great song. Even better video. Yo La Tengo doing Sugarcube.
Cherry ChapStick and Deeper Into Movies (original) are amazing tunes but no videos I can find.

On the classical side:
Last year, our school orchestra did Dupre’s Symphony for Organ and Orchestra, and I fucking adore it, especially the third part. Not only because the [Hammond] organ part was easy, but it’s just such a calming piece.
Also, currently learning this on the piano:

The drum/bass/guitar work is excellent
Unhhh them horns
Deliciously 80s in the coolest way possible
Obscure(?) but I loves it
I have no shame
None. At. All.
