Because of the way Oppo works, a lot of things can get missed - last night I gave everyone the opportunity to ask rising talent Patrik Matthiesen anything you want. Patrik is competing in the 2015 ToCA support bill in the Kick Start Energy Ginetta Junior Championship after several years of top level karting in Denmark, and has been at the sharp end at every round so far, putting him well on track for his goal of Le Mans 2020.

Any question is allowed within reason, the only rules being no NSFW topics (it goes without saying) and nothing overly stupid. Also keep in mind that English isn’t his first language, so keep the wording as simple as possible.

The questions will be compiled once we have a reasonable amount of them - I don’t want to rush the process and force anyone to miss out.

Enjoy!

Dont know if this will be a good question to ask, but:

How is he finding the driving standards in Ginetta Juniors. It seems fairly chaotic and most seems to go unpunished, so does he find this is a problem, or think it sets a bad example going forwards? or does he enjoy the slightly rougher style of racing?

Side note, I know you cover lots of Super GT stuff, so can I ask who you write for? just out of interest really,

I write for myself! I’m only 16, it’s a labour of love that I only do for the benefit of others and to ensure the series gets the coverage it deserves. Totally worth it if you put the effort in.

Ah thats really cool. I found Oppo is such a good outlet for that sort of thing. Its helped my photography no end having a group of enthusiastic readers and I can imagine its the same for writing too.
