Mudders have some cool sidewalls if you’re having a tire kick.

They are great in the mud for like 10k miles, and then they are smooth. Which makes me wonder why people use them as a poser tire, when they don’t last nearly as long as some similarly performing tire.

probably cuz they look cool. to a lot of people, its form over function.

I have Invos on my 600whp Cobra and I’ve driven that thing in the snow. Looks cool, and performs even better.

I’ve always loved that “brain” pattern that vintage racers had.

Hankook Ventus RS-3
Classic with a touch of racing
Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec
like RS-3 on steroids
Yokohama PARADA Spec-2
You really need to see those live to get the full effect
Nitto NT01
Another set of Semi-slick with simple but aggressive design

I’m pretty sure I traced the Yokohamas in CAD for a blipshift submission that never happened. I dont think they made the final cut for the shirt tho. we had like 15 patterns but only like 8 fit on the shirt

Not too bad actually. Heavy ass IRS in the rear helps keep her planted. Drove it about 15 miles both ways to work for a while as the other car was down for “maintenance”.

I figured youd have a harder time with the tires, unless you had switched for winters. I never believed the wholw winter tire hype until I tried it, but that was also coming off of summer tires which were useless in the snow.

I have the Nittos on my X5, the first pic on the rear, the second pic on the front, the front tyres are a bit loud with the solid centre band, but the wear so far has been pretty good.

I really hope so.
those are my next set of tires and those flames look tacky, but the rest of the thread I like it, and the performance is impressive, even more than the Dunlops which I already had some time ago and blew my mind off.
