This Matte black FF that just drove past my work, for example.

I quite like the Carbon Matte on the Viper, but I would never want to own a Matte car.

I like shiny stuff too much to get a matte car.
Also, I fucking love the FF.

Not even the matte brown you can get from Lamborghini?

Not really. Now I do like BMW's Frozen Blue.

I could be completely wrong, but I do believe that matte paint stains easily.

I’ve seen a couple. They need to be done well in order to look good. (one looked like a cheap plsti-dip job) I saw one on a cloudy day and it almost made it look like a stealth fighter. IT was a weird effect, like it just absorbed the light and the car was going to disappear

Even more reason not to ever go matte. I just imagine something like water spots and acid rain and chemical shit ruining that paint outright.

I’d totally rock that matte gray Ferrari FF!

I believe it’s more like bird poo and mud that causes it.

Matte is as objectionable as Bieber’s chromed Fisker. Enough already.

I have only ever seen a few matte cars in the wild, but have seen several at the auto shows. Certain colors and cars look great. I would not be worried about staining or the paint getting ruined, it is not like a flat primer coat, it is a flat clear coat that is just as slick as a gloss finish. It is deceiving when you first touch it.
