I’ve noticed some people, myself included, who do not like massive amounts of negative camber on slammed cars but are fans of VIP Japanese luxury saloons. So what’s oppo’s stance on VIP german saloons?

I like the top one, but the others are far to low for my preference. I would say the absolute limit for lowering a car in my tastes is to where the bottom of the wheel arch is at the top of the tire.

I like mostly stock cars in the first place so I’m not sure I like either

Haha we really do have a similar taste in cars. I LOVE BBS LMs. They look beautiful on everything.
MOAR BBS!

That’s normally my preference too but I don’t mind too much when the cars are parked.

I’m fine with anything stanced, as long as it is safe and tastefully done.

Yes. I don’t care how many people hate on the CLS, I love their sleek body lines.

OEM rims are cool in my book. Nothing too crazy in that department. But I'm good with low/stanced.

In this modern world of ours where there are millions of different tastes, I’d be a pedantic hypocrite to criticize anything. The good thing is that I am indeed a pedantic hypocrite, and I say those are ruined.

German cars are my fave!
But nope. This style doesn't work.

Haha we do. When cars are lowered the right amount it just looks so good. The slightest bit of camber is alright too in my book.
Vossen has done some great things on the S class

That S-class looks the business. After enduring traffic on the 405 in my car I have started to appreciate the possibility of getting a more comfortable car for commuting.
How are the quality of Vossen? I quite like some of their designs but for some reason I have some reservations about committing to them. Are they like ADV.1/360 Forged quality or like HRE quality?

As long as it’s not a performance car, I’m more or less fine with it. No camber tho. How that ever became a thing, I will never know. No fitment either. Who needs crumpled fenders?

That is exactly my opinion as well. My heart weeps internally when I see a car with massive amounts of negative camber and stretched tires. I’d rather have a nice meaty tire on a wheel tucked inside the wheel well.

My take on Vossens.. Look good and they have tons of very high end cars (458’s, S65 coupes, Range rovers) rolling around with them so they must be doing something right.. From what I hear the strength is great but some have had problems with the matte finishes offered chipping. They offer a 5 year warranty.
A little pricy for cast wheels but the quality and design is good enough that people continue to buy. Definitely a step below HRE, but for the price they aren’t a bad choice. Now if I were picking up a set of wheels.. I may go used and get some BBS or HRE’s, they hold value pretty good so if I ever want to switch it up I can sell them for a nice amount. Look up BC forged, I'm in love with their wheels and the quality seems awesome.

If it’s an otherwise unremarkable sedan or OAP special, by all means, that’s cool.
If you’re doing that to a prestine AMG or any new car, ugh. God no.

Nope, all of these examples, exxept for maybe the first one are too low. Ruins the look of the car for me. And imho excessive negative camber just screams “Look how tacky and gauche I am!”
