Ha, I saw a car with HE11 DAN on the plate yesterday, and it took me a minute to realise it wasn’t supposed to say ‘Heil Dan!’.

Oh, right. I was going to ask how you people manage to get your cameras out in time, because although I see all kinds of interesting stuff, it’s always gone before I’ve even got my phone out of my pocket.

Not officially sold and not going to be. You can import privately so long as you make the car comply with EU lighting regs.

Which would be very difficult on the Hellcat I would think....aren’t the real signals red LEDS and Britain requires amber rear signals...? You’d have to desolder and re-solder new LEDs into each cluster I would think! Or disable the red signals and add external new amber signals somewhere...don’t see any on that car...?

The car was first registered in the UK on the 1st June as per this:

To register a lhd US import in the UK, you’ll need either a cert of compliance with EU regs or have it individually tested. Either will require EU front and rear lighting, so it’ll need orange indicators and at least one fog light at the rear and separate orange indicators and white sidelights at the front. One way to do this, depending on the car, is to repurpose reversing lights with orange bulbs and modified wiring. What the owner of this one has done I don’t know.
