I’m guessing insurance would be higher than my Milan....

Insurance is oddly cheap on Magnums, from what I’ve seen. Hell, an all-wheel drive R/T is one of the cheaper cars to insure (that I wouldn’t mind driving).

Could probably beat them down on that price too but doesn’t seem too CP to me. Wagon, huge power, but that mid 2000’s dodge/Chrysler interior though :/

That’s what I was looking for actually, stumbled upon the SRT-8.
SRT-8 is why I expect high insurance. I think an AWD R/T Magnum would be all kinds of badass as a DD.

Why are those rims so small? I haven’t seen a mid-2000s Chrysler product on less than 22” in years... :D

Reliability issues, but otherwise they seem cool enough. I wouldn’t buy one though.

Yeah, and the biggest concern is 85k miles on a big supercharged hemi, that may have been a hard life...

Mine is about $100 a month with the low mileage option, as I don’t drive it in the winter. Not sure about as a daily, but it shouldn’t be that much more I would think.

Hahahaha, Must have been bought by an old man, it’s a 1 owner car.

The cheapest car I’ve ever insured was my 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 that I bought brand new. I was 25 and it was $1300/year full coverage.

Yeah 85k miles on a supercharged hemi seems like it could have had a very harsh life.

That, combined with the usual Mopar crap.

That’s surprising in that age group with that much HP

Very much so.

That magnum is not supercharged? it has a 6.1L Hemi N/A

This is a seriously cool car. The facelift ones are pretty rare which just makes me want one even more.

oh wow you’re right.
I just see SRT-8 and assume superchargers these days, i forget this one is a bit older

it looks much better with the scoop

It is just so cartoonish. That car is actually on my bucket list, and it HAS to have the rear seat DVD option which is as rare as Moose burgers

These are some of the funnest rides I’ve ever been on, a member here has one and it was my first time riding in an SRT. Mind blown. Now I won’t stop until I have an SRT in my life

Well I’m not buying this one so HAVE AT IT. That’s a lot of motor for not a lot of money.
(no budget right now for a new car)

Eh I cannot at this point in time. I want a Scat Pack Challenger either way ;)

It’s NA, also seems stock. Had a friend who worked on enterprise cars before he moved on to a taxi company. He seen the 300 V8s rack up 300k with basic proper maintenance.

HMMM
It is a 6.1L though, I doubt the basic 300 comes equipt with the big boy
![]() 08/07/2015 at 14:56 |

Yeah they mostly had V6s, but they had some V8’s for people who wanted to put down more money. They had like 10 5.7 models and like 4 6.1 models. They all ran pretty strong while he was there doing all the maintenance. One of the 6.1’s was totaled by a drunk driver in a Yukon.

What a waste of the big boy V8.
That makes me feel a bit better, but it’s not
actually
time for be to buy anything yet.
2.5 years left. and Canyon/Colorado is at the top of the list. If I were to seriously consider a Magnum it would be an R/T with AWD not an SRT-8.
Also on the list are AWD Caddys
