Life is going well Oppo. Signed the papers for the new job, start training this weekend, and preordered the Xbox One Forza 6 special edition console.

How has your week been and weekend shaping up?

Saw an STI hatch like the one above, as well as a new Forester XT and E55 AMG wagon on the way home. I fell in love with STI, I really, really want one almost exactly like it.

I want an xbone, but the rest of the week was great. I’m shopping vendors for new hardware...spending 100k for toys for work is fun:) also got to dig into new replication technology.

My week was OK, but my weekend will be better because my summer class ended! :D

Also, that Xbox is the sex. I want it! Do you know if they’ll sell the controller on its own, for me to use on the computer?

Nothing THAT fun. Replication of virtual machines to another datacenter. So if we crap out at the headquarters then the machines rise from the dead at another location and start doing their thing again. Super cool if you’re into it. So changing to a vendor agnostic replication.

Try it...you can do it for free. Load esx on a spare computer. They are just like real hardware. It took me making a host to make it all click.

Controller has been for sale by itself for ages. I picked one up to do Portal PC splitscreen with my 360 controller. Just needs a micro USB cable and you are sorted.

EDIT: The stock controller I mean. Haven’t got a clue about the Forza one.
