Does anyone else find it strange that stories have appeared all over the internet today about Tesla being hack even though Jalopniks Lord and Savoir Jesus Musk said that couldn't happen and Jalopnik doesn't say a word about it?

It’s a conspiracy!!!!!! They’re just trying to brainwash us and hide the truth!
Have you ever considered how insufferable you sound?
As a few other commenters have mentioned, Jalopnik has indeed covered the Tesla hacking story.
As for Musk, he’s built an electric car company that has gone far further than any similar venture, beating countless caricatures such as the one described above. Oh, and he also has a small side project where he’s trying to engineer reusable space travel. Nbd, just a regular dude that deserves no limelight at all.

Musk never said they couldn’t be hacked. In fact, they offer a bounty of $10,000 to anyone who can hack one and show them how they did it.
