I need help Oppo :(

Back in early June I bought a set of coilovers from a guy in Florida. The transaction went off without a hitch. However, UPS managed to lose a rear shock in transit, so he filed an insurance claim. We managed to get 140 out of that so I bought a set of rear shocks off of him (Bilstein Sport Shocks) and he recently shipped them out.

Now comes the part where I need help. He shipped them out (via UPS) on a Friday and said they should be here Wednesday. I got the tracking number and it says they are in Wichita (less that 10 miles away at the distribution center). However, it doesn’t have a delivery estimate and the last thing to be posted was “Destination Scan” at 8:41AM yesterday (the day it was supposed to be delivered), but it says it was scanned in Wichita :(

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?! WHAT DO I DO:(

It’s presumably in a big pile of things somewher in the Wichita center and they’re backlogged, so other than “It’s here... somewhere- I dunno lol”, I don’t think UPS has a better idea what’s going on than you do.

Unless you start paying the UPS driver directly and organizing a secret conspiracy to look for packages in the sorting center through him, I think you’re going to have to wait for it to fall out of the semi-random sorting mess like the rest of us.

At least it’s not Lazership. They claimed they tried to deliver a package 3 days in a row. No one ever came to my door. It didn’t even need to be signed for, it could have been left at my door. They sent it back to Amazon with trying to contact me. They still get paid without actually doing any work.

Amazon was great and gave me a discount to the original sale price (ordered at 60% off, sale ended) plus free 2 day shipping.

If you google Lazership it’s full of complaints about damaged, late, or never delivered packages.

What I'm trying to say is be patient. It could be worse.

Have the seller call UPS, if he ships a lot of things with them, he has much more anger leverge than you do.

Also, if the UPS guy swings through your neighborhood, see if you can flag him down and ask. As long as youre nice, theyre glad to help. Maybe have a cold bottle of water for them as well.

My old UPS driver was awesome, knew when I needed something and would often come early just to drop it off for me. Even my new job, we trade numbers and call each other when something important or heavy is on its way.

Had a similar issue with a part for the Grom. They shipped to the right address/wrong zipcode. I called UPS and they were not helpful, so I drove to the UPS location were the tracking said that the package was, after a few minutes of back and forth, they coughed it up. Call first, if nothing show up.

Wow... makes me feel like a little impatient bastard...

My issue is that UPS dicked around with the insurance check for 1.5 MONTHS before handing it off to the seller... and now this *facepalm*

Yeah. That sucks. I had a package with USPS check in at the post office about a mile from my house in the morning on a Thursday. Didn’t show up till Monday. I can walk to the office. How did it take several days?

I think those are the only bad experiences I've had any time recently
