I can’t wait till the next year or so when we can have a SubarauWRX/sti vs Ford FoRS vs Honda Civic Type -R vs GTI r vs Audi RS3. soo many AWD hot hatches to choose from!!

I’m bored of hatches at the moment but being British, I get one every other week. So I want luxury SUVs in an offroad shootout but without any Land Rover products since they would just win everything.

... IIRC Type-R will be FWD as is the GTI...
Price-wise and drive train, it’d be more realistic to do STI/Golf R/FoRS/RS3 and then a separate GTI/FoST/Type-R

FoRS all the way. I will pay off my ridiculously “back-of-book” FoST by this time next year even though I just bought it in June and then drool over FoRS for the next couple of years until my wife lets me get one. :)

The 4.3 is the engine it should have had in the first place. 4.3T to stay true to it’s roots would be amazing.
Even as it stands, the current 4.3 puts out the same power as the old 4.3T, so...
