My house was built in 1886. My garage I estimate was built in the ‘50s. It’s a detatched unit from the house at the end of my driveway and it was NOT built with fuselage Chryslers in mind. It has graffiti all over and inside it from when the previous deadbeat tenants left it unlocked 24/7. It’s ratty and seems to be composed of several layers of patches everywhere but I kinda like it. It’s like unearthing a barn find every time I go for a drive. What about you guys? Where does your car live?

A very stylish and exciting 3-car concrete parking pad in front of my house. The house was built in 1963, the parking pad is probably several decades newer, but still cracked in places as will happen.

My Tipos at my parents’ garage. I don’t have a decent snapshot of the garage I rent at college though.

My car lives where my truck is parked in this picture. My truck now lives inside the door it is in front of and in a few more pieces.

Last 6 weeks when I was out of town metro was at my work outside, otherwise at my house outside.
XJ has a spot in garage, black Gti also a spot in garage, as well as the R1 & Silverwing & various other projects.
silver Gti is on stands at my rental house.

My car lives on the road! It takes short rests outside my apartment or occasionally in camp grounds along the way but it is certainly "at home" when on the road.

I have to say, that’s a pretty awesome looking truck.

Thanks! Someday I’ll get to legally drive it on the road.

On the street right now.
I’m hoping maybe once my parents sell the pop-up I can convince them to let me park it in the garage where it went. Doubtful, but hey, never hurts to ask.

In a “2” car garage. Maybe if my other car wasn’t a suburban : ) .

Ha! I also own a Suburban so I defintely know the feeling

Nah, I’ll register it as a street rod and there won’t need an inspection.
The problem is that it was someone else’s project and everytime I fix something I break another and find another that was already broken.
Currently it needs
Finish rust removal on rear half of frame
Paint rear half of frame
Re-assemble the rear suspension, bed, lights and gas tank
New fuel pump (gonna go mechanical)
Front suspension
Brakes front and back
Fluids
Seats and belts
Rivet panels on where doors used to go
Lugs

Ah, that’d definitely do it. How does one only manage to remove rust on half the frame? Did they just get half way through and gave up or something?

I’m not sure but everything that was under the bed was bad and everything under the cab is ok. The next time I take it apart it’ll be the front half and clean it up to match the rear.
