I did a double take today in a parking garage in downtown Saint Louis when I spotted this black Fisker Karma wearing a thick coat of dust.
As if you couldn’t make a sad story any sadder. Its a shame this beauty isn’t being properly cared for.

Wasn’t fast enough with the phone, but I saw a silver one a year ago in June on Madison Avenue. I go back and forth on the styling, but seeing one in the wild is something that happens ... twice in a lifetime?

I honestly thought this was either a Mercury Milan or a Maserati Quattroporte at first glance :P

It’s a cool car.. full electric propulsion with range extender.. it really is what the Tesla lacks in terms of roadtrip usability..
sm70- why not Duesenberg?

Saw this dust-covered one when I was in Chicago. Thought it could be the same one, but it’s not. Great looking cars though.

Saw one in chicago last week.
I think these are going to be incredible collector’s cars in about 10 years.

Considering how many of these are abandoned I think Tesla has the reliability for a road trip. Not so much for these...

Did it by chance have the vanity plate “PROMO 2”?

Like Fisker, batteries are dead.

Batteries probably dead, Ecotec not working...

It’s got dust for a reason. It is the least reliable car Edmunds ever tested. It stranded them twice before 200 miles, and kept breaking from there. I can’t help from wanting to snag one for a song, rip all the electric crap out, and put a LS swap in it.

I’ve actually seen three in the wild. All were silver.

The only one I’ve seen in NYC (because I never fucking get off the island) was silver as well. Could not get a photo, as it seemed to go to warp speed when a lane opened up on Madison Ave.

We have/had a Fisker/Lotus dealer in town here. The lot always had a bunch of them but I never saw them anywhere else in town.

They certainly are unique looking though.

True that.. these used to spontaneously combust, right?

There is no mistaking them. I was so surprised to see one. Did they even sell 1,000? Bieber has one that he chromed, I know, but I want to forget that car. Give me a solid example in white, red interior, and I’m yours.

I guess a St. Louis parking garage is as good a place as any to abandon a car?

That would be an insane coincidence.

I’m surprised it hasn’t incurred fines for hanging out into the traffic lane, or been towed for being there more than 72 hours.

I’ll take it off their hands, especially since it’s local!
